Soziologie Kolloquium Summersemester 2025

16.05.2025

Sociology, Politics & Law
Explorations into an interdisciplinary subfield of the broader social sciences

The research colloquium of the Sociology Department will be held in English in the summer semester 2025 in cooperation with the Chair of African Legal Studies. It is intended to shed light on the interfaces between sociology, political science and law from various perspectives. While the research fields of Socio-Legal Studies and Judicial Politics are firmly established in English-speaking countries, the bridges between these disciplines are less well established in German-speaking countries. The colloquium aims to contribute to making the research field accessible and better known to a social science and law audience without specialised knowledge. Guests are very welcome.
